Programs

Godlink has ensured students have access to clean drinking water by repairing the water wells at both Chifundo and Kamwala schools. At Mkapala, a new water well was drilled through support from UNICEF, providing students with safe and reliable drinking water each day.

Orphan Care

Godlink is currently providing full boarding, daily meals, and essential educational supplies for eight orphans in Zambia. They are being given the opportunity to thrive through consistent care, a safe place to live, and access to quality education. Your support makes it possible for each of them to dream, grow, and build a brighter future.

Medical Care

Godlink’s medical team, Deborah and Cecy, care for students and the community by treating illnesses like malaria, ringworm, skin infections, diarrhea, and dysentery. Their goal is to keep children healthy so they can stay in school and focus on learning.

Chifundo School

Chifundo School serves 335 students from Early Childhood Education through Grade 7. Since 2021, Godlink has helped transform the school by providing a new roof, desks, computers, sewing machines, clean water, and a daily feeding program. Enrollment has grown significantly, and students now benefit from updated curriculum, dictionaries, books, and other essential learning resources.

Kamwala School

Kamwala Community School now serves 476 students from Early Childhood Education through 7th grade. Godlink recently repaired the school’s roof and restored the water well, ensuring that students have access to clean and safe drinking water. A new skill development center has been added to expand the school’s sewing and computer training programs for older students. The daily feeding and educational programs have led to a rapid increase in student enrollment as more families seek better opportunities for their children. The local community has been instrumental in supporting these efforts, especially through active involvement in the farming program. Kamwala continues to grow as a place of hope, learning, and transformation for students and their families.

Mkapala School

Mkapala Community School, located in Petauke, Zambia, was the first school Godlink built from the ground up and now serves 290 students from Early Childhood Education through Grade 7. The school has recently been equipped with a new borehole, providing students with reliable access to clean water. Mkapala is seeing excellent results through its farming program and was recently recognized by the district for its high test scores. These achievements reflect the powerful impact of combining quality education, daily nutrition, clean water, and strong community involvement. Mkapala continues to be a shining example of what is possible when students are equipped with the tools and support they need to thrive.

Sewing Program

Godlink’s hands-on sewing program serves 114 students in Grades 5–7 at Chifundo, Kamwala, and Mkapala Community Schools. Led by Gershom Zulu, a trained instructor, the program provides weekly, practical sewing lessons. By Grade 7, students gain a valuable skill that can lead to future income opportunities. More than a class, it’s a tool for empowerment, helping students break the cycle of poverty through education and skill development.

computer program

Godlink’s computer training program is equipping 111 students in Grades 5–7 across Chifundo, Kamwala, and Mkapala with essential technology skills. With 18 computers distributed across the three schools, students are gaining hands-on experience in typing, software use, and internet research. The program builds digital literacy and confidence, preparing students in rural Zambia for a connected and opportunity-filled future.

Farming Program

Godlink’s farming program teaches 5th–7th grade students practical agricultural skills using the “Farming God’s Way” method. Through hands-on experience, students learn to grow crops while applying biblical principles of stewardship, faith, and hard work. The program encourages responsibility, respect for creation, and trust in God for the harvest, helping students grow spiritually and gain skills for long-term sustainability.

stories

During the December 2024 trip, our medical team learned about Johnson, a young boy who had been walking on a painful leg wound for years. Godlink’s medical team stepped in and took Johnson to a doctor, where he received treatment and surgery to remove the damaged bone. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, Johnson has been able to travel to follow up appointments and is now recovering well.

Ephraim, a young student at Mkapala, fell from a mango tree and injured both his top and bottom lip, leaving his face swollen. Thankfully, Godlink’s medical team was there to treat his wounds. Today, Ephraim is fully healed and thriving in school
